A Golden Year A Comin’

So here we find ourselves at a peculiar time in each of our lives; the celebration of a year passed and the aspirations of a freshly budding year a comin’. This New Years resolution mindset or thought process we’re enveloped in tends to be the cause of a great many future disappointments. Far too often we put the focus on what we want to happen within the coming months, or we put the emphasis on what we will give up or refuse, but sadly these self-proclaimed ‘claims’ will only end in heartbreak and disillusionment when the realization comes that they are often unattainable when we are left to our own devices. If we thought for a moment to allocate out thoughts and efforts on something truly worthwhile, we may see brighter days yet to come...
